Lead Singer, Damon Harvey
The first time I ever remember singing in front of a crowd was at Trinity Lutheran School's talent contest when I was in
fourth grade.  I sang "Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson, and I've been singing ever since.  I sang in choir through the
eighth grade, but once I got to high school, sports and involvement in the  F. F. A. took up most of my free time, and
music was put on the back burner.  When I was 31, at the encouragement of a friend, I began singing country music in
1994.  I quickly became a regular at nightclubs all around Texas.  Then in 1998, we went to Nashville, Tennessee and
recorded our first CD at Studio 19.  Soon after, I released my first country CD and began touring to promote my music at
radio stations across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.  It took almost losing my family to realize that the road was no way
of life for me.  Fortunately, my wife Mitzi is an incredibly forgiving lady, and we began putting our marriage back together
in 1999.  With absolutely no regrets, I left country music and the entertainment industry in 2001.

For the next five years I sang with my church praise & worship team.  In January of 2006 a mutual friend introduced me
to Dannie Bates.  I auditioned for The Faithful Quartet, and have been the lead singer for the group ever since.  I am
happily married to my Mitzi, my lovely wife of 35 years.  We have one son, Adam who is a firefighter and a daughter in
law, Melissa, who is a high school history teacher that we love like our own.  They have blessed us with two amazing
grandsons.  Holden Jase who was born October 18th, 2016 and Hayden Cole who was born May 30th, 2018.  We are so
fortunate and blessed that we are able to babysit these two precious boys and I get to see them daily!  They are the
biggest blessings we have ever received, and we love them dearly!

I have recorded a total of 11 different CD's over the past 20 years.  The latest is my new 2020 Christmas CD.  There
were two country, five Christmas and the three Southern Gospel CD's with the Faithful Quartet.  I have also had the
honor of singing the National Anthem for the Houston Astros for 18 seasons, and I was asked to perform the National
Anthem for the 2007 United States Olympic Boxing Trials held in Houston.

In my spare time, I love sport and target shooting, going fishing, watching football and baseball games and going to the car
races and local car shows.  "No one man deserves to be this blessed!"
